What is PRP?
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. A small sample of your own blood is processed in a special device and the platelet-rich part is separated. It is then applied to the scalp.
The plasma may help support hair follicles and reduce shedding. PRP does not remove the cause of hair loss. It is a supportive treatment.
What to expect, and what not to
Response varies from person to person. Some people notice better hair quality and less shedding, while for others the effect is limited. That is why we do not promise miracles.
PRP can be considered to support healing after a transplant, or to strengthen existing hair. Our team will tell you honestly whether it is a good fit for you.
What a session looks like
A session takes about 30–60 minutes. Blood is drawn, the plasma is prepared and applied to the scalp with fine tips. You can usually return to daily life shortly afterwards.
Several sessions are normally planned to support the effect. The number and spacing depend on your needs. We advise not washing your hair for the first 24 hours and protecting your scalp from the sun.
