What is a beard transplant?
A beard transplant moves follicles, usually from the back of the head, into the beard area. Because they come from your own body, rejection is not an issue.
Common reasons include a thin beard, gaps on the chin or cheeks, genetics and scars. The goal is a beard that suits your face and looks natural.
We design your beard first
The beard line is planned around your face shape, age and preference. Cheeks, sideburns and jawline are drawn together, and the line is agreed with you.
Beard hair grows in different directions and angles across the face. Placement follows your natural growth direction, which is the key to a natural look.
Procedure and recovery
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia. It takes about 4–8 hours and is usually completed in one session. You return to your hotel or home the same day.
Mild redness is common in the first 3 days. Scabs fall off in 7–10 days. It is normal for transplanted hairs to shed within 2–8 weeks. New hair appears between months 3 and 6, and the result settles at about 12 months.
During this time, avoid pressure on the face and protect it from the sun. Our team will tell you when it is safe to shave.
